Local Counsel for the Legal Matters That Often Overlap

Where you live, where property is located, and where an estate is administered can all matter.

A probate proceeding may involve the county where someone lived. A real estate matter may involve locally recorded deeds, easements, surveys, or other property records. An estate plan may need to account for a family cabin, farmland, business interests, or property located elsewhere in Minnesota.

From Sartell, Syverson PLLC helps clients address these issues with one attorney who understands how estate planning, probate, business law, and real estate can connect.

Stearns County

With our office located in Sartell, Stearns County is at the center of our Central Minnesota practice.

We work with families, property owners, and business owners in St. Cloud, Sartell, Waite Park, Cold Spring, Sauk Centre, Melrose, and surrounding communities on estate planning, business law, real estate, and probate matters.

Whether you are creating an estate plan, preparing for a business transition, transferring property, or dealing with an estate after a death, you work directly with the attorney handling your matter.

Benton County

Sartell's location also places Syverson PLLC close to clients throughout Benton County, including Sauk Rapids, Foley, Rice, and surrounding communities.

We assist Benton County families and business owners with new and existing estate plans, probate administration, business matters, and real estate transactions and transfers.

If you already have an estate plan that was prepared years ago, we can also help you determine whether changes in your family, property, business, or goals warrant an update.

Sherburne County

Syverson PLLC serves families and business owners throughout Sherburne County, including Elk River, Big Lake, Becker, Zimmerman, Clear Lake, and surrounding communities.

Our work includes estate planning for individuals and families, legal guidance for closely held businesses, real estate matters, and probate when a family is responsible for administering an estate.

For families creating their first estate plan, the initial 30-minute estate planning consultation is free.

Crow Wing County

Cabins, lake homes, and recreational property can create legal questions that extend beyond an ordinary real estate transaction.

Syverson PLLC serves clients with property and legal matters in Brainerd, Baxter, Nisswa, Crosslake, Pequot Lakes, and other Crow Wing County communities.

When a family wants to keep a cabin or lake property for the next generation, the plan may involve estate planning, real estate, and ownership structure decisions. Because Syverson PLLC handles these areas within the same practice, those questions can be considered together.

St. Cloud MN

Estate Planning Attorney St. Cloud MN | Syverson PLLC

Syverson PLLC handles estate planning, business law, real estate, and probate for St. Cloud families and business owners. That means wills, trusts, powers of attorney, health care directives, and asset protection on the estate planning side, entity formation, contracts, and business sales for St. Cloud companies and professional practices, and property work ranging from purchase agreements and title issues to transfers between family members. On probate, the first question is whether it is required at all, and because St. Cloud spans three counties, the second is which courthouse is yours. Your first 30-minute estate planning consultation is free.

Serving Clients Throughout Minnesota

We also represent clients on Minnesota matters statewide.

No. We represent clients on Minnesota legal matters throughout the state. Contact our office to discuss your situation and whether the matter can be handled efficiently from our Sartell office.

  • My parent lived in a different county. Can Syverson PLLC handle the probate?

Potentially, yes. Probate proceedings generally involve the county where the person lived at the time of death. Syverson PLLC handles probate and estate administration matters in Central Minnesota and can discuss whether we can assist with the particular estate.

The first step is also determining whether probate is required.

  • I own a cabin in the Brainerd lakes area but live somewhere else. Can you help?

Yes. Clients do not necessarily need to live in the same county as their cabin or recreational property.

We can help evaluate estate planning, ownership, succession, and real estate considerations for Minnesota cabin and lake property.

  • Is the consultation free everywhere you serve?

The initial free 30-minute consultation applies to estate planning matters regardless of where you live in Minnesota.

Business law and real estate consultations are paid.
